With you on socialism. I do not have time to read what has been said as I am a slave to that most awful of species MAN and am busy making chicken soup. Really more for myself as I refuse to eat junk food.I only have one body and the Docs for certain can not take care of it, its mine and I look after it. As I have lived in the UK for thirty years (Socialist) Canada for 20yrs(somewhat socialist) rest of the time in the USA who are trying to cram their Capitalism down every other Country's throat and millions here have no Medical care the middle class is no more. 10% are so disgustling wealthy it is putting me off my chicken soup. After 64 years of fighting the sysyem I am worn out and dont know if I can start trying to change things again. The slave will return. Thats a promise.

I hear ya, woman 1. Women were the first to be oppressed by hierarchical political power...that happened even before the advent of classes and the dawn of agriculture. I'm fighting the system by asking people to organize...to take out a Red Card, a union card in the IWW. Doesn't take much effort and if everyone did it and then got their friends to do it, we'd have the four hour day within a year. Problem is that nobody wants to do much of anything other than read their astrological charts or have faith in Godot.

Some of my Ballard relatives. They were Southern boys. Pix taken in the 19th Century.
Ah shucks, Mam. Why thank-ya. I was six in that pic.

Great photos, Mike!

Oh...I should explain. The 19th Century rellies of mine are the last photo. They were all Southern boys who either fought in the Civil War or escaped military service. Good on 'em for escaping. Sorry for the ones who went to war.
