The only constant is change...

I don't know about you, but I can dig it.

Not Nusrat's best, by any means - this is one of his two collaborations with a new-agey artist named Michael Brook - but still good stuff. At his best, he's unbelievable: Quite possibly the best voice of the 20th century.

Cool clip!

I LOVE the groove... However, ...I think they need to add a few more photos to the collection... After hearing this cut I jumped over to you tube and tried a couple more songs by this guy.. This guy ROCKS!
I'm adding this music to my mp3 collection. I don't know what they are singing about but the Music MOVES...MOVES...MOVES!!!
Thanks Mike! New juice for the life flow...

Turn me on to some of his best then, ardi. Don't be stingy.

Yeah me too, yankee. Reminds me of the way I felt when I first heard Ravi Shankar at the Monterey Pop Fest in 1967....well, the movie anyway. ;p

Haha... I like "Mustt Mustt," not running it down. If you like it, he did 2 albums with Michael Brook: "Mustt Mustt" and the later "Night Song."

I like all of his stuff on Real World Records. My faves are "Shahen Shah" and "The Last Prophet," which are made up of much longer numbers but (especially in the case of "The Last Prophet") really let him cut loose with the vocal fireworks.
